The updated luxury cars start at Rs 2.62 crore and Rs 2.91 crore, respectively, with revised styling, improved electric range and new personalisation options.
Maserati India has launched the facelifted GranTurismo and GranCabrio in the country. The updated grand tourers feature revised exterior styling, cabin changes and improvements to selected features. Prices start at Rs 2.62 crore for the GranTurismo and Rs 2.91 crore for the GranCabrio, with delivery timelines yet to be confirmed.
Both models continue to offer petrol and all-electric powertrain options. The petrol versions use Maserati’s Nettuno V6 engine, while the Folgore variants feature a three-motor electric setup. The electric models also receive a longer claimed driving range.
Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio: Engine and Performance
The updated GranTurismo and GranCabrio continue with a 3.0-litre, twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 petrol engine. The standard version produces 490 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The Trofeo variant delivers 590 hp and 650 Nm, marking a 50 hp increase over the previous Trofeo.
Both models use an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. Maserati has recalibrated the gearbox for quicker responses. The GranTurismo completes the 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.9 seconds, while the Trofeo takes 3.5 seconds. Their claimed top speeds are 302 kmph and 320 kmph, respectively.
The open-top GranCabrio is slightly slower than its coupe counterpart. The standard version accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300 kmph. The GranCabrio Trofeo completes the same sprint in 3.6 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 316 kmph.
Maserati Folgore: Electric Range and Charging
The all-electric GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore retain their 92.5 kWh battery pack. Both use three electric motors, with one at the front and two at the rear. Their combined output stands at 761 hp and 1,350 Nm of torque.
The GranTurismo Folgore accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.5 seconds. Its claimed top speed is 325 kmph. The GranCabrio Folgore completes the same sprint in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 290 kmph.
The claimed driving range has increased from 450 km to 540 km under the WLTP testing cycle. Maserati attributes the improvement to a system that disconnects the front motor when all-wheel drive is not required. This helps reduce energy use during suitable driving conditions.
The electric models support DC fast charging at up to 270 kW. Maserati says charging from 20 to 80 per cent takes around 18 minutes under suitable conditions. With 22 kW AC charging, the system can add about 100 km of range per hour.
Suspension and Driving Modes
Air suspension comes as standard across the updated range. The standard petrol and Folgore versions also receive a new Country driving mode. It replaces the previous Comfort mode and raises ground clearance by 20 mm at speeds of up to 120 kmph.
The added ground clearance is intended to help the cars handle uneven road surfaces. However, the available information does not specify changes to the suspension setup of every variant.
Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio: Exterior Design
The facelift brings several changes to the front and rear styling. The front bumper takes inspiration from the Maserati MCPura and features reshaped air intakes. A redesigned front splitter also forms part of the updated design.
The LED tail-lamps now feature clear-lens detailing. The Folgore versions receive different air intakes and rear bumpers to distinguish them from the petrol models. These changes give the electric variants a slightly different appearance.
The GranCabrio retains its folding roof, which opens in 14 seconds and closes in 16 seconds. With the roof lowered, boot capacity ranges from 151 litres to 172 litres, according to the supplied specifications.
Interior and Feature Updates
Inside, both models receive a new octagonal steering wheel inspired by racing cars. It features dark satin aluminium spokes. The digital clock has also been redesigned with an octagonal metal rim, while the drive selector now uses metal knobs.

Maserati has integrated the parking function into the steering-wheel paddles. A new system has also been added to monitor driver behaviour and fatigue. Further details about the system’s operation have not been provided.
New Colours and Personalisation Options
Maserati has expanded the personalisation choices through its Fuoriserie programme. New exterior colour options include Green Jupiter Matte, Blu Denim, Bronzo Lucido, Bronzo Matte, Grigio Mistero, Rosso Velluto and Oro Lirico.
Buyers can also choose new badges and exhaust tips. Optional Tridente alloy wheels feature a gloss-black finish inspired by the MCPura. These wheels also increase the car’s track width by 10 mm.
Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio: India Prices
The facelifted Maserati GranTurismo starts at Rs 2.62 crore, while the GranCabrio starts at Rs 2.91 crore. Both prices are ex-showroom. The supplied information does not include a variant-wise price list for the Trofeo and Folgore versions.
The updated models combine petrol performance with electric alternatives. The Folgore variants offer a claimed range of up to 540 km, while the petrol Trofeo versions deliver higher power than the standard models.
Maserati has not yet confirmed delivery timelines for the updated GranTurismo and GranCabrio in India. Buyers will need to check with the company for availability, variant-specific prices and delivery details.
