The OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro are expected to launch on October 29, with dedicated chips for touch response, display performance and network stability.

OnePlus has teased a new triple-chip gaming system for its upcoming Ace 7 series ahead of its expected launch on October 29. The setup will feature on both the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro. The company says the dedicated chips are designed to improve gaming performance.

According to OnePlus posts on Weibo, the system combines three chips to manage touch response, display refresh rates and network performance. The company aims to provide smoother gameplay and more responsive controls.

OnePlus Ace 7 Series Triple-Chip Setup Explained

The gaming system includes the Super Display Chip P4, a T3 touch chip and an e-sports-grade G3 networking chip. Each chip handles a different part of the gaming experience.

OnePlus claims the T3 chip supports multi-finger touch sampling rates of up to 520Hz. The G3 chip is said to reduce game stuttering by 46% and network latency by 17% on cellular networks.

The P4 display chip is designed to support a steady refresh rate of 185Hz while reducing motion blur. However, these performance figures are based on the company’s claims.

Dual-Airflow Cooling System

OnePlus has also highlighted a dual-airflow cooling system for the upcoming phones. The design uses a cooling fan to cool both the internal chip and the rear panel at the same time.
