iQOO launched the Neo 12 in China on Wednesday, introducing a smartphone with a 9,000mAh battery and a 185Hz Super AMOLED display. The new model succeeds the iQOO Neo 11 and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The handset features a 6.83-inch 2K display, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will be available in China through the Vivo online store in three colour options.
iQOO Neo 12 Price and Availability
The iQOO Neo 12 starts at CNY 4,399 (approximately Rs. 63,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The company has also announced four other configurations with different memory and storage capacities.

iQOO Neo 12 Specifications and Features
Display and Design
The iQOO Neo 12 features a 6.83-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2K resolution of 1,440 × 3,200 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 185Hz, a peak brightness of 2,200 nits and HDR.
It offers a pixel density of 514 ppi and supports 1.07 billion colours. The display also has a touch sampling rate of up to 5,000Hz for faster touch response. The phone features a flat rear panel with a square-shaped camera module in the top-left corner.
Processor, RAM and Storage
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built using a 3nm process. The octa-core processor reaches a maximum clock speed of 4.6GHz and works with an Adreno 840 GPU and a Q3 gaming chip.
The device offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. For heat management during demanding tasks, it includes an active cooling fan and a 3D vapour chamber. The cooling system has a reported heat dissipation area of 8,200 square millimetres.

The iQOO Neo 12 runs OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, and supports dual SIM connectivity.
Camera Specifications
The iQOO Neo 12 has two rear cameras. Its main camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). It also supports up to 20x digital zoom.
The second rear camera is an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the phone features a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video calls. The handset supports video recording at up to 8K resolution at 30 frames per second.

The device packs a 9,000mAh battery, one of its key specifications. It supports 100W wired fast charging.
