Benchmark listings show both smartphones running Android 17 with around 12GB of memory, as Xiaomi prepares to expand its flagship series beyond China.
Xiaomi’s upcoming global versions of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max have appeared on Geekbench AI. The listings suggest that international testing of both flagship smartphones may already be underway. However, Xiaomi has not announced an official global launch date.
The company unveiled both models in China last month and later confirmed plans to bring the series to global markets. Their appearance on the benchmarking platform could indicate progress towards an international release, although the timing remains unconfirmed.
Xiaomi 18 Pro series spotted on Geekbench AI
The global Xiaomi 18 Pro has appeared on Geekbench AI with the model number 2609BPN61G. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is listed under the model number 2611FPNFAG. Both listings provide an early look at the software and memory configurations being tested.
According to the benchmark entries, both smartphones run Android 17 and have approximately 12GB of memory. The listings also identify Qualcomm’s ARMv8 platform. However, they do not independently confirm the final commercial names of the processors expected to power the devices.
Expected processor and graphics differences
The Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor. The larger Pro Max model could feature the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. These chipset details come from reported hardware configurations and have not been independently confirmed by the benchmark listings.
Both processors reportedly share the same CPU core arrangement. This includes three cores running at 3.74GHz, three at 4.03GHz and two at 5.01GHz. The main expected difference lies in graphics processing, which helps handle demanding games, visual effects and other graphics-intensive tasks.
The reported configurations point to an Adreno 845 GPU in the standard Xiaomi 18 Pro. The Pro Max is expected to feature an Adreno 850 GPU. If these specifications prove accurate, the two models could offer different levels of graphics performance.
Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max Geekbench AI scores
The Geekbench AI listings also provide scores for the smartphones across three AI processing tests. These results offer an early indication of their performance in specific artificial intelligence workloads.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro scored 2,565 in single-precision testing, 3,236 in half-precision testing and 4,667 in quantized testing. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max recorded scores of 2,256, 3,556 and 5,092 in the same tests, respectively.
| Geekbench AI test | Xiaomi 18 Pro | Xiaomi 18 Pro Max |
|---|---|---|
| Single precision | 2,565 | 2,256 |
| Half precision | 3,236 | 3,556 |
| Quantized | 4,667 | 5,092 |
The results show that the Pro Max scored higher in half-precision and quantized testing. The standard Pro recorded a higher single-precision score. These figures relate to AI benchmark performance and should not be treated as direct measurements of overall CPU, GPU or everyday smartphone speed.
Actual performance may also depend on software optimisation, cooling and other hardware factors. A single benchmark run does not establish how the devices will perform across different applications.
How the global launch could differ from the Xiaomi 17 series
Xiaomi’s previous flagship release offers useful context for the expected international rollout. The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max launched in China in September 2025. However, only the standard Xiaomi 17 reached global markets in early 2026.
The Pro and Pro Max models remained exclusive to China during that release cycle. If Xiaomi brings both Xiaomi 18 Pro models to international markets, it would mark a change from the previous generation’s rollout strategy.
A wider release could give international buyers access to more of Xiaomi’s flagship range. It could also help the company compete more directly with upcoming premium smartphones from Vivo and Oppo. However, the extent of any market impact will depend on the final specifications, pricing and availability in individual countries.
