The Pixel 11a may launch in spring 2027 with a higher starting price than its predecessor.
Google’s Pixel 11a could arrive in spring 2027 with a starting price of $599, according to a new report. That would be $100 higher than the Pixel 10a’s $499 launch price. The report also includes the first leaked renders of the upcoming phone.
The leaked design suggests that Google will keep the Pixel 11a close to the Pixel 9a and Pixel 10a. It is expected to have a rear camera module that sits flush with the back panel. However, the module could be shorter than before, changing from a longer ellipse to a more compact shape.
The flash is expected to remain outside the camera module. The phone could measure around 153.46 x 72.35 x 9mm, making it slightly shorter than the Pixel 10a. The reported colour options are Obsidian, Fog, Olive and Orchid.
Pixel 11a may use Tensor G6 chip
The Pixel 11a is expected to use Google’s Tensor G6 chip and a MediaTek M90 modem. A leak in July had also pointed to these two components, and the latest report backs up those details.
The Pixel 10a launched with the Tensor G4 chip. The Pixel 11a, by comparison, is expected to use the same Tensor G6 chip as the Pixel 11 series. This could make the new A-series phone more closely aligned with Google’s main Pixel lineup.
The phone is also expected to feature a 6.3-inch 1080p display. The screen could support a 60Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Peak brightness may reach 3,350 nits, while high-brightness mode could reach 2,250 nits.
Pixel 11a camera and battery details
The Pixel 11a could pack a 5,100mAh battery. It is also expected to retain the 48MP main camera and 13MP ultrawide camera used in the reported specifications.
The front camera could receive an upgrade. It is tipped to use a 10.5MP sensor, compared with the current front camera setup.

On the software side, the Pixel 11a is expected to ship with Android 17. It could also receive seven years of operating system, feature and security updates.
