The BlackEyePatch collaboration combines a gold-tone design with G-Shock’s standard shock and water resistance features.
Casio is preparing to launch a new G-Shock watch from its collaboration with Tokyo-based apparel brand BlackEyePatch in the US. The DW-5600BEP-9 is scheduled to go on sale in the US on October 9, 2026, at a price of $165.
The watch first launched in Japan earlier in September. It is the third collaboration between Casio and BlackEyePatch.
Gold-tone design based on the classic DW-5600
The DW-5600BEP-9 uses the DW-5600 as its base. The model keeps the square case shape associated with the original DW-5000 series.
The watch features a gold-tone bezel and band with a standard black digital display. Casio says the colourway reflects the hip-hop culture that influences the BlackEyePatch brand.
A BlackEyePatch logo is engraved on the case back. The watch also comes with custom packaging made for the collaboration.
The case, bezel and band use bio-based resin. The watch measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 millimetres and weighs 53 grams.
Standard G-Shock features
The DW-5600BEP-9 uses a CR2016 battery. Casio estimates a battery life of about five years.
The watch has shock resistance and 200-metre water resistance. It also includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer and a multi-function alarm.
A flash alert system connects the buzzer and LED backlight with alarms and timers. The Super Illuminator backlight uses a white LED to improve visibility in dark conditions.
The digital display uses mineral glass. The timekeeping module has an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and includes a full auto-calendar.
US availability and price
Casio has listed the DW-5600BEP-9 on its US website. The watch is scheduled to become available in the US on October 9, 2026, with a listed price of $165.
The new model follows other recent G-Shock releases from Casio. These include a G-Shock featuring real platinum leaf and new G-Steel GST-B1000 watches with solar power and slimmer cases.
