The new 360-degree action camera adds 8K video at 60 frames per second, interchangeable lenses and a larger battery.
DJI has launched the Osmo 360 II globally as a new rival to the Insta360 X6. The camera brings several upgrades over the Osmo 360, which launched in July 2025.
The Osmo 360 II can record 360-degree video in 8K at 60 frames per second. The older model supported 8K recording at up to 50 frames per second. The new camera also supports 4K slow-motion video at 120 frames per second with one lens and 240 frames per second with both lenses.
One major change is support for interchangeable lenses. This was not available on the Osmo 360. The feature can make lens replacement easier when a lens is scratched, cracked or broken.
The new camera uses 1/1.1-inch camera sensors and supports up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range. DJI has also added a 10% larger battery. The 2,150 mAh battery is paired with a video bitrate of up to 220 Mbps.
The Osmo 360 II also adds NFC Quick Connect and a new magnetic mount design. DJI says the new model includes around a dozen upgrades over its predecessor.
Pricing starts at €589 for the Standard Combo. The Adventure Combo costs €739 and includes additional accessories. DJI is also selling a Lens Replacement Kit for €39, a Battery Extension Rod for €99 and a Heavy-Duty Clamp Mount Kit for €49.
The company’s Invisible Waterproof case will be available later this year. The Osmo 360 II therefore offers several hardware and recording upgrades for buyers considering DJI’s latest 360-degree camera.
