The Vivo V80 is set to launch in India with a 7,200mAh battery, 90W charging and Zeiss-tuned cameras.
Vivo V80 price details have reportedly surfaced ahead of its India launch on October 6. According to tipster Ahsan Kharbai (@AHSANKHARBAI), the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant could carry a box MRP of Rs. 1,19,999.
The reported box MRP may not reflect the actual selling price. The tipster claims that the Vivo V80 could launch in India at a price above Rs. 60,000. Vivo has not yet officially announced the handset’s price.
Vivo V80 price details leaked
The leaked information suggests that the 8GB + 128GB version will have a box MRP of Rs. 1,19,999. However, the actual retail price is expected to be different from the printed MRP.
The leak also points to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The phone could use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It may also feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The Vivo V80 is also tipped to offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. These specifications are based on leaked information and have not been fully confirmed by Vivo.
Vivo V80 display and software
Vivo has confirmed several specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The Vivo V80 will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The display will support up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. The phone will run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.
The handset will use a one-piece cold-carved glass design. It will also feature a floating camera module on the rear.
Zeiss-tuned cameras take focus
Photography will be a major part of the Vivo V80’s specifications. The phone will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
It will also have a 50-megapixel Night Telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel Group Selfie camera. Vivo says the camera system has been tuned by Zeiss.
The camera setup will support 3x optical zoom and up to 100x zoom. It will also support 4K Cinematic Video and 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
Vivo has confirmed several AI-based camera features as well. These include AI Creative Camera, Live Sticker Collage and AI Diwali Portrait 2.0.
7,200mAh battery with 90W charging
The Vivo V80 will pack a 7,200mAh battery. It will support 90W FlashCharge technology for faster wired charging.
According to Vivo, the battery can provide up to 14 hours of navigation. The company also claims up to 39.5 hours of local video playback.

The large battery could be one of the key hardware features of the new V-Series smartphone. Actual battery life will depend on usage and other conditions.
Vivo V80 India launch date and availability
Vivo has confirmed that the V80 will launch in India on October 6 at 12pm IST. The smartphone will be available in Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black colour options.
The phone will be sold through Vivo’s India website, Amazon and Flipkart. It will also be available through offline retail channels.
For now, the official selling price remains unconfirmed. More pricing and availability details are expected when Vivo officially launches the Vivo V80 in India on October 6.
