Red Magic has teased the Red Magic 12 Pro+, its next high-end gaming phone. The company says the new model will be lighter, thinner, narrower and more rounded than earlier models. The official reveal is planned for October.
The teaser images show slimmer screen bezels and softer corners. Red Magic says the bezel has been reduced from 1.25mm to 0.96mm. The change is designed to give the display a more immersive look.
Jiang Chao, General Manager of Red Magic Gaming Phones, said the phone is built with gamers in mind. He highlighted its cooling system, lighter body and thinner design. He also pointed to the phone’s under-display camera and hole-free front screen.
Red Magic has not yet shared the full specifications. The company is also yet to confirm the exact launch date, price and colour options.
Focus on comfort and gaming
The redesign puts more focus on comfort as well as gaming performance. The rounded edges and lighter body are intended to make the phone easier to hold during long gaming sessions.
The company also continues to highlight cooling as an important part of the phone. This is aimed at supporting heavy gaming loads while maintaining the device’s performance during longer sessions.

The under-display camera remains part of the design. This allows the front of the phone to avoid a visible camera hole or notch.
