Samsung Galaxy S26 prices could increase for both storage variants, but Samsung has not confirmed the reported revision.
Samsung may raise the price of the Galaxy S26 in India, according to a claim by tipster Sanju Choudhary on X. The reported increase could affect both the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants.
The 12GB + 256GB model is reportedly set to rise from Rs. 87,999 to Rs. 99,999. The 12GB + 512GB version could increase from Rs. 1,07,999 to Rs. 1,19,999.
However, these reported prices have not appeared on Samsung’s website. The company has also not announced any price revision or confirmed the reported increase.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Price in India
Samsung currently lists the 12GB + 256GB Galaxy S26 at Rs. 79,999 on its website. The 12GB + 512GB model is listed at Rs. 99,999.
The figures in the tipster’s claim therefore differ from Samsung’s current website prices. The reported revised prices and their effective date also remain unclear.
The claim comes after reports of possible price increases for other Samsung flagship devices in India. These include the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Samsung has not confirmed these reported changes.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Price Claim
The same tipster also claimed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could reach a price level similar to Apple’s latest Pro model in India. The claim did not include a revised price or an effective date.
Apple’s latest Pro model starts at Rs. 1,64,900 in India. The Galaxy S26 Ultra currently has an MRP starting at Rs. 1,39,999.
Samsung Galaxy Forever Plan
Samsung recently announced a new 24-month Galaxy Forever payment option for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 8 in India.
Under the plan, customers pay 60 percent of the phone’s price through EMIs. The remaining 40 percent is deferred until the end of the 24-month period.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra EMI falls to Rs. 6,997 from Rs. 9,417. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 EMI falls to Rs. 6,416 from Rs. 8,584.
For now, the reported Galaxy S26 price increase remains unconfirmed. Any revised pricing will need to appear in Samsung’s official pricing before it can be treated as confirmed.
