The new Oppo flagship will launch in China on September 22 with three 200-megapixel rear cameras.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max will launch in China on September 22. The phone will be among the first smartphones to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. Oppo has also confirmed that the model will reach international markets, although it has not announced the global release date.
Dimensity 9600 Pro Chipset
The Dimensity 9600 Pro uses TSMC’s 2nm N2P process. Oppo says the new chip can improve CPU multi-core energy efficiency by up to 61 percent over the previous generation. It also claims a 17 percent rise in overall CPU performance.
The chipset uses an All-Big-Core design. It has two C2-Ultra cores with speeds of up to 4.55GHz, along with six performance cores. Each core has independent frequency controls to adjust workloads more precisely.
For graphics, the chip uses MediaTek’s G2-Ultra NX GPU. Oppo says it offers enhanced ray tracing and neural graphics features. The company claims about 27 percent higher performance during sustained heavy workloads.
The Dimensity 9600 Pro also includes two NPUs for on-device AI tasks. Oppo says the high-performance NPU improves LLM prefill performance by 51 percent. The Super Efficient NPU is claimed to improve power efficiency by 40 percent.
Laminar Flow Engine
Oppo and MediaTek have also developed the Laminar Flow Engine for the phone. It links rendering with system scheduling to balance response speed and power use.
Oppo says the system can improve app launch times and keep content loading smooth during heavy use. The company highlighted tasks such as rapid photo browsing as an example.
Three 200-Megapixel Cameras
The Find X10 Pro Max will have a rectangular rear camera module with three lenses. It will also have separate sections for the flash and another sensor.
The phone will use three 200-megapixel rear cameras, with Hasselblad working with Oppo on the hardware. Oppo will also introduce its second-generation Danxia colour system on the phone.
Battery and Colours
Oppo has confirmed a battery capacity of up to 8,000mAh. The phone will be available in Warm Orange, Moon White and Light Titanium colour options.
The China launch is scheduled for 7pm local time on September 22. That is 4:30pm IST for Indian readers.
Oppo has not yet announced the price or the international release timeline. More details are expected at the company’s global launch event.
